Port to Present Airport Master Plan Concepts

Port to Present Airport Master Plan Concepts

The Port of Walla Walla, owner and operator of the Walla Walla Regional Airport, will hold a public
meeting in the Walla Walla Regional Airport Terminal Conference Room on April 11, 2016, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., to discuss its forthcoming Airport Master Plan.

The Port has undertaken an Airport Master Plan to address proposed airport development needs for a 20-year period. Information available at the public meeting will include aviation forecasts, anticipated airport facilities, and the initial development alternatives that have been identified to date.

“The purpose of our meeting is two-fold”, says Jennifer Skoglund, Airport Manager. “We want to present to the public what we’ve learned to-date during the master planning process, and we want to receive input and new ideas from our community.” The meeting will be held using an “open house” format, with members of the Port staff and its consultant team available to discuss the information presented.

Interested community members are invited to stop in any time during the two-hour open house. The airport terminal is located at 45 Terminal Loop, Walla Walla.
