Rate & Charge Guidelines

The Walla Walla Regional Airport receives federal funding on a yearly basis through the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) to help with the SAFETY, SECURITY, PLANNING, and INFRASTRUCTURE needs of our valuable asset. As a condition of these grants the airport must follow grant assurances and be consistant with the FAA's Policy Regarding Airport Rates and Charges.

The Policy Regarding Airport Rates and Charges states that airports must maintain a fee and rental structure that help make the airport as financially self-sustaining as possible for both aeronautical and non-aeronautical uses.

This requirement recognizes that individual airports will differ in their ability to be fully self-sustaining, given differences in conditions at each airport. The purpose of the self-sustaining rule is to maintain the utility of the federal investment in the airport.

Each year the Port of Walla Walla Commissioner review the Rate & Charge Guidelines. Below are the adopted guidelines for CY 2024.
